The Pika Glacier from early April to early May is a paradise for ski mountaineering enthusiasts. Moderate glacier skiing to steep chutes, small warm up runs to Hollywood lines…the Pika offers everything an expert skier could ever want.
GUIDE FEE Starts at $550 per day on the glacier
LOGISTICS COST Cost varies according to duration: $3,000 – $4,500
The Pika Glacier (Also known as Little Switzerland) offers a few different zones for day trips from basecamp – each zone boasting dozens of lines. As with any ski expedition, what we specifically ski will depend on conditions and the ability/goals of the group. For those wanting an even greater “adventure factor” we can utilize snow shelters for a multi-day ski traverse to ski even wilder zones before returning to basecamp.
