Alpine Climbing & Mountaineering

Alpine climbing is a perfect fit for Peak’s ethos of the best itineraries in the best venues. Throughout the world there are amazing places to visit and some of the best memories to be had.

Alpine climbing in the San Juan Mountains is characterized by high peaks, quick access, and diverse climbing on rock, snow, and ice. We offer privately guided alpine climbs and skill building mountaineering courses in the San Juan Mountains throughout the year. Classic peaks like Mt. Sneffels (14,150’), Wilson Peak (14,017’), and Wetterhorn Peak (14,015’) have rewarding climbs that are suitable for beginners as well as high level routes for advanced climbers.

European Alps

Alpinism is deeply rooted in the storied history of Mont Blanc, the Eiger, the Matterhorn and so many other famous objectives. Many of our guides have devoted a significant portion of their career to guiding in the Alps.

Each year Peak runs one specialized trip to Mt. Rainier.
